Coat, skin & temperament

When Biscuit came in, his coat was badly matted behind the ears and along his belly, and he was nervous around the dryer.

Bathing, trimming & styling

I started with a warm bath using an oatmeal shampoo, then worked the mats out slowly and cut away the worst ones. After that I gave him a short puppy cut and trimmed his nails.

The finished groom & home care

By the end he was calm, his coat was soft and even, and his owner said he looked like a new dog. A quick brush twice a week will keep the mats from coming back.
